This video is a general overview of the surrealist art movement, where I talk about its main themes and analyse 3 key pieces, by Giorgio de Chirico, Salvador Dali and Dorothea Tanning. It's important to have a thorough understanding of surrealist art to reference past artistic movements in our projects. I didn't have time to go into detail about certain things but I hope you can easily identify surrealist art after watching to this video!

The background video is Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog), a 1929 Franco-Spanish silent surrealist short film by Spanish director Luis Buñuel and artist Salvador Dalí.
